Zernio lets one assistant answer direct messages that arrive from the social accounts you connect there. A customer writes on one of those networks, and the reply goes back through the same Zernio inbox.

When to use it

Use it when several social inboxes should share one assistant: Bluesky, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp and X, for the accounts you connect in Zernio. The inbox has to be part of the Zernio subscription. Without it, Zernio refuses the webhook with “feature not available”.

What the assistant hears

The assistant hears message.received and comment.received. Zernio signs each delivery with the header X-Zernio-Signature and the secret you chose.

Where the keys come from

The linked provider guide shows the screens for these clicks. Follow the clicks below together with those pictures. Sign up at zernio.com and create an API key that can read and write. You choose the webhook signing secret yourself, so it exists before the Famulor URL. Connect the social accounts in the Zernio dashboard before you expect messages. The webhook setup, including the inbox events, is in Zernio webhooks and Inbox webhooks.

Create it at the provider

  1. Sign in at zernio.com.
  2. Create an API key with read and write access and copy it.
  3. Connect the social accounts the assistant should answer.
  4. Invent a webhook signing secret and keep it.

Connect it in Famulor

Your plan includes this channel. Open Settings → Channels, choose the card, name the connection, pick an assistant and save. The shared conversation settings — response delay (default 5 seconds) and inactivity timeout (default 30 minutes) — are described on the messaging channels page. On the Zernio card paste Zernio API key and Webhook signing secret. Bot display name is optional. After saving, open the connection menu and choose Copy webhook URL. Paste that exact address into the provider. A verified custom domain is already part of the address Famulor shows.

Point the provider at Famulor

  1. Copy the Famulor webhook URL.
  2. In Zernio, create the inbox webhook for message.received and comment.received. Use the Famulor URL and the same secret.
  3. If Zernio returns “feature not available”, the inbox is not on the current subscription. Add it there, then save the webhook again.
  4. Send a direct message on a connected account. The thread appears in History.

History

Open History and filter by Zernio. The thread, the assistant reply and any analysis appear there. You can pause the assistant and answer manually.

API, MCP and command line

The same connection can be created with the public API, the MCP tool create_messaging_connector, or the command line. Replace the placeholders with your own values.
