Costs

Famulor is a pay-as-you-go platform: you only pay for what you use.
Costs are calculated based on your usage, and you have a wallet where 1 credit equals 1 minute of call time.

Types of costs

There are two types of costs:
  • Famulor costs: These are the costs associated with the AI assistant handling the call.
  • Carrier costs: These are the costs associated with the carrier (telephone network) used to make the call.

1. Main Components

  1. AI Cost
    • Minimum charge of 30 seconds (0.5 min) per call. Any call under 30 seconds is billed as 30 seconds - e.g., a 10-second call deducts 0.5 min from your balance.
    • Beyond 30 seconds, billing is per second. For example, a 35-second call deducts exactly 35 seconds (~0.58 min) from your balance.
    • Fixed reference price: EUR 0.20/call minute.
  2. Carrier Cost
    • These costs are rounded up to the next minute and depend on the country you are calling.
    • We do not add markups; we use the same rates as the carriers.
    • Example: for a 30-second call to a US number, you are billed 1 minute x USD 0.01 = USD 0.01.
  3. Number Rental
    • If you rent a phone number, there is a monthly fee (e.g., EUR 3.99 for a standard US number).
    • If your region is not listed, we can custom-provision a number after document verification.
    • Each number’s cost is billed monthly until released.
  4. Extra Fees (Optional)
    • SMS: If your number is SMS-capable, standard per-message fees apply.
    • Voicemail detection: Billed as 1 minute per call.
    • High-volume usage: Potential bulk discounts for very large monthly volumes.
